Head of Programme & Director of Performance
With a plethora of swimming, fitness and sports therapy qualifications, Gerry brings extensive international experience as both a swimmer and coach. Gerry has coached athletes to national medals and placed swimmers on national development programmes, demonstrating his expertise at the highest levels of the sport, including coaching two swimmers to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. In addition to leading our Senior Performance squad, Gerry has worked with Aquatics GB’s elite para-swimmers and is regularly selected for national coaching placements.
Assistant Head of Programme & Youth Performance Lead
Hailing from Estonia, Tim has rich experience of competition at the international level of the sport, but is just as passionate about teaching and coaching swimming. Tim, a Level 3 Senior Swimming Coach and qualified fitness instructor, has coached athletes to national-level success, and currently leads our Youth Performance squad.
Junior Performance Lead
Rob, a former swimmer with Edmonton Phoenix, has been a cornerstone of the club's history, teaching and coaching swimming since his teenage years. A Level 3 Senior Swimming Coach, Rob has helped guide numerous athletes to success at a senior level. He leads Junior Performance, helping them to achieve their goals of qualifying for County and Regional Championships.
Academy Lead
Vicki, a former swimmer herself, has decades of teaching and coaching experience. With numerous qualifications, including Level 1 and 2 Teaching and Coaching qualifications as well as the Aquatics GB Judge 2 Starter qualification, Vicki is highly knowledgable when it comes to swimming. Vicki has coached numerous athletes who have gone on to achieve on a national and international level. Vicki leads our Academy squad, guiding our youngest competitive swimmers as they dip their toes into racing for the first time.
Head of Competitive Pathway & Senior Competitive Lead
Matt, a former competitive swimmer with regional and national achievements, leads our Competitive Pathway. Starting as a swimming teacher in his teens, he earned Level 1 and 2 qualifications in both Swimming Teaching and Coaching, along with a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Collaborating closely with the Competitive Pathway coaching team, he plays a key role in helping athletes achieve County and Regional success. As well as leading the Senior Competitive squad, Matt assists Vicki with the Academy squad and leads Strength and Conditioning for the Senior Performance Squad.
Coach
Jodie, a former competitive swimmer until her late teens, began teaching swimming over 17 years ago. Since then, she has become a qualified Swim England Swimming Teacher, Coach, Tutor, and Aquatics GB Judge 1 Official. Passionate about helping others excel, Jodie has taught many of our top-performing athletes to swim. Jodie is one of our senior teachers with Phoenix house and she also assists our lead coaching team across the programme.
Assistant Junior Performance Lead
George, a former national-level swimmer with Swim Enfield, started coaching in 2019 and has since earned his Swim England Level 2 Swimming Coach qualification. As the assistant lead coach for Junior Performance, George helps young swimmers reach their potential as they transition into the world of performance swimming.
Youth Competitive Lead
Emma, a former competitive and current masters swimmer with Swim Enfield, began coaching in 2020 through her Duke of Edinburgh Award. Now a Level 2 Swimming Coach, she plays a key role in the Competitive Pathway, with a passion for guiding young athletes to reach their full potential. A Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teacher, Emma also assists with our Teaching Houses.
Junior Competitive Lead
Martha, a former Swim Enfield swimmer, began coaching in 2022 through the Swim Enfield Internship Programme. Having completed her Level 1 and Level 2 Swimming Coach qualifications, she now leads the Junior Competitive squad, focusing on developing skills and confidence in young athletes while guiding them to excel in their swimming journeys.
Assistant Coach
Elizabeth, a former regional-level swimmer with Swim Enfield, began coaching in 2022 through the Swim Enfield Internship Programme. Now a Level 2 Swimming Coach, she assists with the Junior Performance and Academy squads, supporting swimmers in developing their skills and helping them reach their full potential in the sport.
Assistant Coach
Lewis is a current performance swimmer who has achieved top-10 finishes in England. He started his coaching career through our Swim Enfield Internship Programme in 2022. Having completed the Swim England Level 2 Swimming Coach qualification, he now assists across our junior programmes, guiding our youngest competitive swimmers as they begin their journey into racing. Lewis also assists with our Griffins Teaching House.
Assistant Coach
Louis is a competitive swimmer, who started his coaching journey through our Swim Enfield Internship Programme in 2023 and has since earnt his Level 1 Assistant Swimming Coach Qualification. Louis can be found on poolside on a Sunday morning, assisting with our junior programmes.

Josh is a current national-level swimmer, who started his coaching career through our Swim Enfield Internship Programme in 2023. He has since completed the Swim England Assistant Swimming Coach qualification and now assists with Junior Performance, as well as teaching in our Griffins House.

Jia Yue is a regional medalist and current performance swimmer who started coaching through our Swim Enfield Internship Programme in 2023. She has since completed the Swim England Assistant Swimming Coach qualification and assists with Youth Competitive. Jia Yue also assists with our Phoenix Teaching House.
